Born in New York (Brooklyn), graduated from a Hotel, Restaurant & Tourism School then began working for Loew's Hotels in sales.
I stayed with Loew's for 7 years then moved to New Orleans and began working for an independent French Quarter Hotel and stayed
with the company for 8 years before opening my own Tour Company packaging New Orleans. I sold the company 14 years later and began working for
Travel Weekly the largest Travel Trade Newspaper in the country. I also started my own marketing company called Destination Marketing Consultants
where I conducted over 30 Package Tour Seminars and continue to conduct these seminars. I was the host of a radio show in New Orleans and Houston
for 5 years called "The Travel Show". I began working for AJR Media Group in 2003 with my primary territory being LA, MS & AR.
I am the Past President of the Skal Club of New Orleans, Past President and current board member of French Quarter Festivals, Past President of the
Louisiana Travel Promotion Association and Past President of HSMA New Orleans. I write a blog on our website TourLouisiana.com where
I'm searching for the best gumbo in Louisiana and I'm a certified barbecue judge judging over 16 cook-offs per year. I have a beautiful
wife, wonderful identical twin daughters and 4 fantastic grandkids.
